Opening:                                                                                          Time: 10m   

(consider prior learning, motivation, overview and the presentation of the learning outcome

    The teacher will review with students the different kind of pattern with use some flash card for various shapes, colors and numbers.

 

 

Practice Activities (use groupings as required)                                      Time: 25m

Describe the activities and what the students will be doing. Consider differentiated activities.

 

Describe here what the teacher will be doing during the practice activities:

 

Activity 1  (low ability )

 

 Teacher will give low ability group worksheet about pattern numbers, for example, counting by 1 and 10, so they have to complete the table. 

 

Activity 2 ( Middle ability)

                                                 

They have to complete their sheet about   skip by 2, 5 and 10, so they have to count by 2 for example, 2,4,6,8 then they have counting by 5, 10, 15.. And counting by 10, 20, 30, 40,

 

Activity 3  (High ability )   

 

Teacher will hand out to high ability group about skip 3 so they will start 3, 6, 9….

Closing/ Conclusion:                                                                               Time: 10m

Consider a review of what the students did during the practice activities and ensure that all students are assessed for learning.

The teacher will walk around the class and she will start to check each group to answer.

Using positive reinforcement can help students and encourage them to involve in class

The teacher will use the simple transition to help the student to recognize their name when the teacher says.

 

Use same transition help teacher to save time and student will do transition easy and nicely

“Children have special educational needs if they have a learning difficulty they need extra support”. (Meggitt, 2006, p. 141).
